May is even more exciting than April! The days are longer and hopefully chances of show have been replaced by chances of rain. Rain is good for our plants and the long days! Anemone trannssilvanica is one of the first plants to bloom! It is followed by tulips, primulas and native plants. The large Paeonia anomala kahkassia in the Lower Perirenal Garden is the first peony to bloom, usually in late May.
